Rather than put her through stress and uncertainty, they have chosen to make a selfless decision to find her a new home where she can continue to thrive, feel secure, and be loved just as deeply as she always has been. Ellie is not being rehomed because of any fault of her own far from it. She is everything anyone could hope for in a companion: gentle, affectionate, well-adjusted, and full of love to give. This is simply a matter of circumstance, and her family’s greatest wish is to see her placed quickly into a safe, caring home where she will be treasured.
